The F/A-18 Hornet is an all weather-carrier that is a multirole fighter for the United States Navy and the United States Marine Corps. She is capable of being a strike fighter jet and she can attack ground and aerial targets. Just like many airplanes that were built for Navy or Marines she came in many variants one being the F/A-18C, which is a single seat variant of the original F/A-18 Hornet. She also came with many upgrades, like upgraded radar, avionics, and the capacity to carry new missiles. She also received the Martin-Baker Ejection Seat and a self-protection jammer. A synthetic aperture ground mapping radar was installed to enable pilots to locate targets in poor visibility conditions. The C’s also received an improved night attack capability.
