On January 21st 1976 British Airways began commercial supersonic travel from London to Bahrain. It regularly flew from London via British Airways to New York City. This supersonic airliner set many records, including a flight across the Atlantic in 2 hours, 52 minutes and 59 seconds between New York City and London, on February 7th 1996. This model is one of the world's most famous and venerated jet aircrafts, the Concorde. It has been reproduced in kiln dried Philippine mahogany, carved, joined and sanded by hand. Details are hand painted onto each piece with no decals used. The final product is this marvelous wooden sculpture.
