Shipping & Return Policies

SHIPPING METHODS:

ORDERS:

North America: Orders will be processed with 2 business days. Orders placed on any given business day by 1:30 pm EST may ship within 48 hours (business days) of your order. (See Standard Shipment and Delivery Options below for delivery time frame.) During holiday seasons, this time frame may be inaccurate. To Alaska, PR, HI and USVI, Additional charges (to the Standard Delivery Charge) per shipping address apply and in some cases, may not be available. Also, deliveries to Alaska, PR, HI and USVI not available on Saturdays.

World: We do not ship our products to international destinations other than Canada.

MONEY ORDERS AND CERTIFIED CHECKS: All payments made by Money Order or Certified Check must be made payable to Amaros Online Inc and sent to 2004 Winners Circle, North Lauderdale, FL  33068. You may chose to fax in your order to 954-721-6343 or mail it in using our order form . Please be aware that all purchases will be processed as soon as payment clears our account. Once your payment clears, your purchased item(s) will be shipped under the normal shipping arrangements stated on this page unless you request special delivery options. You will be notified via email or phone when the process has been completed.

STANDARD SHIPPING: Our shipping carriers are USPS, UPS, DHL, Fedex or Freight. Once packages have been picked up, shipments are generally delivered within 3 - 7 days within the 48 contiguous U.S. States (7 days being the East Coast) via Standard Ground Delivery. USPS delivery times vary based on delivery location. Shipments to Alaska and Hawaii may require additional shipping fees. If this is the case, you will be contacted by one of our excellent sales representatives.

SHIPMENTS TO CANADA: Many of our products are also available for shipment to Canada. Please contact customerservice@modelaircraftstore.com to request information on availability, shipping rates and time frame for shipment deliveries.

    ATTENTION: Shipping rates do not include duties, taxes or other non-routine customs brokerage charges for shipments outside of the Continental United States. Please supply us with the shipping address and product you are interested in so that we can provide details as expeditiously as possible. You may estimate our shipping rates to be in the range of $2.50 per pound, however this is just an estimate and in many cases is on the high end as far as estimating goes.

Please contact customerservice@modelaircraftstore.com to request information on availability, shipping rates and time frame for shipment deliveries. Once again, additional Brokerage Fees may apply for shipments outside of the United States. Please supply us with the shipping address and product information so that we can provide details as expeditiously as possible.

DELIVERY OPTIONS: We do offer Next Day, 2nd Day and 3 Day Select on some of our products, however these other Shipping Rates will be provided at an additional cost. Please contact customerservice@modelaircraftstore.com or call 786-877-6830 for rates before making your purchase if you would like one of these options. We will contact you usually within a 4-8 hours, but if not, then within 24 hours.

BACK ORDERS:

Some of our items may be obtained on back order. If you have purchased an item that is no longer available, we will immediately contact you to give you the option of either purchasing said item with the understanding that shipment on said item will go out when available, purchasing another item or providing you with a full refund on your purchase. If you would like for us to let you know when an unavailable item becomes available, we will gladly oblige via your contact information.

GUARANTEE:

Please review our return policy for any damages sustained to any Model Aircraft Store product during shipping.

TAXES:

Florida Residents are responsible to pay a 6.0% Sales Tax plus an additional .25 to 1.5% additional Discretionary Sales Surtax depending on County of residence.

RETURN, REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY - All ModelAircraftStore.com Products:

ModelAircraftStore.com and its associates understand that there are times when merchandise must be returned. Please inspect goods and report shortages, damages or defects immediately upon receipt. Prior to returning an item, please review our Return Policy Below.

  • Any refused/non-deliverable shipments will be subject to the original shipping costs, the shipping costs associated with the return shipment and a 20% restocking fee. Once we receive the returned merchandise and inspect the item(s), a product refund will be issued within 10 business days, less the 20% restocking fee, original shipping fee and return shipping fee. Shipping charges are never refundable. If original payment was made with a charge card, a credit will be posted to the same card. Purchases made by check will be refunded by check.
  • Shipping Charges cannot be refunded. 
  • Customer is solely responsible for shipping any returned product to ModelAircraftStore.com or its associated warehouses unless the item(s) was(were) damaged in transit. Customer agrees to use only reputable carriers capable of providing proof of delivery and insurance for the entire value of the shipment. Customer agrees to bear all shipping and insurance charges and all risk of loss for the return product during shipment. Customer agrees that all returned products will be 100% complete, in re-saleable condition, and will include the original packaging material, manuals, blank warranty cards, and other accessories provided by the manufacturer. If any component of the returned product is missing or damaged, ModelAircraftStore.com's Return Procedure will be breached and ModelAircraftStore.com may in its sole and absolute discretion reject the entire return or choose to impose necessary charges against the customer for replacement of the missing or damaged component(s).

  • MANUFACTURERS RETURN, REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY - Model Aircraft - Warehouse36:

        * Returns will be accepted only on damaged merchandise or manufacturing defects (as determined by Manufacturer).
        * Customers must contact customerservice@modelaircraftstore.com before returning a product in order to obtain an authorization number and ship-to address.
        * A Dealer initiated RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) is required before a return can be accepted.
        * Returns must be in the original packaging, having not been assembled and must be in "like new" condition suitable for resale.
        * Returns will be replaced or repaired at discretion of Manufacturer. Replacement will ONLY be for the same model.
        * A canceled order will be credited in the full amount ONLY if product has not shipped.
        * An order cancelled while product is in transit will be subject to a restocking fee, the cost of the original shipment plus the cost of the return freight. Non-defective returns are subject to a 15-20% restocking fee. The original freight charges will not be refunded.
        * All returns must be shipped prepaid freight. This means that customers are responsible for shipping the item back to the address supplied when the return was requested and for paying for said shipping.
        * Received orders may not be returned unless for damaged product as noted above.

    If conditions for the product return as stated above are met, a dealer initiated RMA will be issued to you and this return authorization number (RA #) must be marked on your return package. With the exception of returns caused by our error, shipping costs for returned items will be buyer's responsibility as well as the original shipping charge and a restocking fee. No return will be accepted without invoice number or date of sale. To receive a refund or credit, returned items must be in original packaging, unused, in original condition and received at the address directed for returns within 15 days of your original receipt of the product. Item will be inspected prior to replacement or repair.

    MANUFACTURERS RETURN, REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY - Model Airplane Kits and other Products - Midwest Products [SKU starts with "MW"]:

        * There are occasions where merchandise must be returned. Prior to returning any item, an "RA" number (Return Authorization) must be obtained to receive credit. A 20% handling charge must be charged for all items returned for reasons beyond our control. Items must be returned freight prepaid. Credit or refund will be issued at the purchase price upon receipt of the merchandise.

    MANUFACTURERS RETURN, REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY - Authentic Models (AM-USA) [SKU starts with "AMAP"]:

        * Inspect goods upon receipt. Report shortages, damages or defects within 30 days of receipt. No returns will be accepted without prior approval. Returns must have an assigned Returned Goods Authorization number. All returns must be shipped using AMI provided UPS labels. A restocking charge, ranging from a minimum of 15% up to 30%, may be applied to some returns as determined by Authentic Models.

    MANUFACTURERS RETURN, REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY - Megatech Remote Control Products:

        * In order to protect our customers, Megatech accepts return of defective items only for replacement with identical new items. Products modified, abused or misused are solely the purchaser's responsibility. Return Authorization is required. There is a 20% re-stocking fee.

    MANUFACTURERS SHIPPING, RETURN, REFUND, WARRANTY AND CANCELLATION POLICY - Aircraft Models Corporation [SKU starts with "AM"]: 

    Shipping and availability

    A. Items available will ship within 3 business days upon receipt of order. Items on back order may take 6 to 8 weeks to deliver (Some cases longer).

    B. We will always do our best to notify our customers of orders that are not available

    C. UPS is our primary courier. However, we may also ship our products via USPS, DHL and other courier options.

    D. We will not include any enclosures with any shipment unless advised.

    E. USPS Shipments (P.O. Boxes, Int’l addresses or APO addresses) will incur additional $3.00 charge.

    F. Only UPS Shipments will include ship notifications via e-mail

    Return Policy

    A. All merchandise returns must be authorized. Please contact us!

    B. Customer returns or exchanges
    i . Merchandise must arrive in sellable condition
    i i . A 10% restocking fee will be incurred plus any applicable shipping charges
    i i i . Customer must package model carefully and fully insure return shipment.

    C. Damaged/Defective Merchandise
    i . All claims must be received within 7 days of delivery (NO EXCEPTIONS)
    i i . Replacements will be shipped and billed (w/o freight charge). Credit will be issued upon receipt of damaged/defective merchandise

    D. Refused merchandise will incur 10% restocking fee and shipping charges cannot be refunded

    Warranty

    A. Manufacturer guarantees our products free from manufacturers defects for 60 days from receipt of merchandise

    B. Replacements will be made only upon inspection and approval of merchandise
